As the holiday season draws near, Pacific Driver Education is working to help the needy while also giving clients a $40 rebate on the cost of private driving lessons.
Clients who enroll receive a $40 cash rebate on a package of four lessons if they donate at least two cans of food to the food drive barrels at the Pacific Driver Education office, 1520 NE 8th St. in Gresham. In addition, the company has committed to donating $10 cash to the food bank for each person who participates in the promotion.
We want to make a positive difference in our community, said PDE managing partner, Lois Lents. We feel like this promotion provides two important benefits to Gresham: we can help the hungry while also making area roadways safer. Thats definitely a win-win proposition.
We established our office in Gresham one year ago, and the interest and support of citizens in our city have been amazing. As owners, we want to pay that support forward by holding out a helping hand, explained PDE partner Steve Lents.
Everyone needs a little help in life, whether in learning the skill of becoming safe, low-risk drivers or by being sure they have enough to eat. These are two areas where we hope to make an impact, said partner Josh Szurszewski.
Pacific Driver Education is a DMV-certified and ODOT-approved driving school.
