Purpose and Place Shine at BESThq’s 9TH Annual Business Expo West Featuring Keynote YMCA CEO, Tyler Wright, and 30+ speakers as “Virtual” Edition Debuts in 2020
Beaverton, OR: For the past eight years, hundreds have gathered at Tektronix during spring “tradeshow season” at Business Expo West, a large, diverse business-to-business tradeshow on Portland’s Westside. Planned for April 2 with nearly 100 exhibitors, this year the event will model necessary business adaptability and go “virtual” to deliver a beacon of hope in the midst of unprecedented times.
In its inaugural virtual format, participants will connect with business professionals, government and public agencies, and community organizations to foster sustained growth. Columbia-Willamette YMCA CEO, Tyler Wright, and others will share perspective on this year’s theme: PURPOSE.
The four-hour expo, delivered via Zoom video conferencing, will feature an opening “Quadruple Bottom Line” presentation at noon and keynote speakers on the hour. In between keynotes, dozens of other speakers will illuminate their own journeys to finding purpose in work and what keeps them committed to their vocations, even through adversity. Business resources, giveaways, and movement breaks will bring an in-person expo feel to virtual participants.
On June 25th, Business Expo West participants re-convene for the in-person exposition at Tektronix. Ticket purchase grants entry into both the virtual and in-person expos.
Date/Time: Thursdays, April 2nd (Virtual) and June 25th (at Tek) | Noon – 4:00pm
Locations: April 2nd (Zoom) and June 25th, Tektronix, Bldg 38 located at 13600 SW Terman Rd. in Beaverton

Benefit: A portion of the proceeds from Business Expo West 2020 will benefit Knights STEM Association, World Vision, Portland Housing Center and Oregon Food Bank.
“Business West Expo was one of the best expos I've been to. You can feel the energy. It was clearly an extension of the strong community that BESThq has been cultivating. I was able to make new friendships and connections for business collaboration. Can't wait for next year!" – Timothy DeWolf, Get-Benefits
