PORTLAND, OR September 2015 The number one retail brand in the United States has recognized Beaverton Toyota as having the best new customer experience in the country.
Beaverton Toyota was the inaugural winner of the Best In Town award for its new way of buying a car a process they call CLEAR. Akio Toyoda, CEO of Toyota Motor Company and grandson of company founder Kiichiro Toyoda, presented the award to Anne Humberston and Russ Humberston Jr. at Toyotas National Convention last week in Las Vegas.
In the fall of 2014, Akio Toyoda challenged Toyota dealers to become the Best in Town. Everyone says Toyota is the best company in the world, but the customer doesn't care about the world. They care if we are the best in town, or not. That's what I want to be, said Akio Toyoda. The competition was open to all 1,239 Toyota dealers.
The award was for Beaverton Toyotas CLEAR process in which the customer deals with one salesperson, to purchase a car at one price (the dealerships lowest possible price) in one hour. The sales person works on the transaction with the customer interfacing on an ipad using Beaverton Toyotas CLEAR sales software, which it developed earlier this year.
Located on the corner of Murray Blvd. and Tualatin Valley Highway, Beaverton Toyota is one of the longest standing Toyota Dealerships in the Northwest with more than 42 years in the business. Beaverton Toyotas Rent A Car business is the largest Toyota rental center in the country. Beaverton Toyotas Service Center is the number one service center in Oregon over the past 30 years. The dealership has sold and serviced well over 1,000,000 customers - more Toyotas than any dealership in Oregon.
